Danièle van de Velde


Danièle van de Velde is professor emeritus at the University of Lille and former researcher at the CNRS. She is author of ‘Le spectre nominal. Des noms de matières aux noms d’abstractions’, editions Peeters, Leuven, 1996, and of ‘Grammaire des événements’. Presses Universitaires du Septentrion, Villeneuve d’Ascq, 2006, as well as of numerous articles on events, nominalizations, facts, and other topics in linguistic semantics. She is currently working on a book ‘Faits et causes’ (‘Fact and Causes’).
